Chateau at Moorings Park is a Medicare-certified skilled nursing center in Naples, Florida, on Moorings Park’s 83-acre campus. It offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, outpatient therapy and memory support. The center serves both Moorings Park residents and people who live elsewhere, so it is not limited to those who already live on the campus. Its services are set among landscaped grounds and include private and semi-private room options.

Short-term rehabilitation includes physical, occupational and speech therapy after procedures such as hip or knee replacement, cardiac care, neurosurgery and other surgery. Licensed therapists assess each patient and develop a therapy plan informed by the procedure, the person’s abilities and their goals. Outpatient therapists also work with patients and their physicians to set treatment plans. Outpatient therapy may also focus on functional independence in everyday activities at home and in the community. Vestibular therapy addresses balance problems, dizziness and inner-ear deficits. After discharge, additional care may be arranged through Moorings Park Home Health or its outpatient services.

Long-term care is intended for people living with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Individualized plans are developed with physicians and family members. Residents can choose a private or semi-private room, use furnished accommodations or bring personal belongings from home. Bright living spaces and access to landscaped campus grounds offer options for spending time indoors or outside. Staff help with daily activities such as hygiene, bathing, dressing and eating, as well as medication management.

Memory support is available for people with Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss and related dementias, including later stages of these conditions. The program follows the Best Friends Approach, with personalized plans that may incorporate a resident’s life story. Meaningful activities are designed to engage residents and stimulate cognitive function. Family-centered programs encourage relatives to participate and spend time with residents. Secured outdoor gardens and courtyards are part of the memory support setting.

Daily life also includes social, recreational and spiritual activities, with music therapy and chaplaincy services among the offerings. Meals are served in family-style dining rooms or in residents’ rooms, and private dining rooms can be used for family gatherings and celebrations. Seasonal menus feature fresh, local ingredients and healthy choices; examples of daily baked offerings include crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. Common areas include lounges and activity rooms, providing places for residents to spend time with visiting family and friends. Other amenities include movie and computer rooms, Wi-Fi, a beauty salon and a barber shop. Across the campus are courtyards, lakeside gazebos, walking paths and Bower Chapel. For residents whose Moorings Park Life Plan contracts include skilled nursing, those services are covered under the contract.
